Though Atkins has been around for a long time, there are a couple of individuals who still do not realize it. It has been changed in in some way, but the fundamentals persist the same. All the same, since doctor. Atkins has died, he apparently can not longer manage what he began, and that has lead to a couple of changes that may not be for the best. I am not sure who is running the company now, but they are not doing as well as he did, and there are a couple of things that they have changed that are not the greatest for the dieters using the plans. The Atkins bars are an example of this.
Do not get me wrong, I hear they are good and the carbohydrate count is in line with what this diet is, and what it can do. Nevertheless, for many, this is not something that should be avoided once they begin the plan. The first part of Atkins is the Induction stage, and these Atkins bars have caused many trying to get through that form to stall out and they do not know why. Because this part of the plan is more restrictive than the rest, it is greatest to avoid anything not listed in the book.
It is not to say that Atkins bars are not useful all the same. They are good for those who have gone through induction and must of the ongoing weight loss portion of the plan. They are good for those who are nearly done with weight loss and moving into maintaining their weight. They are great for snacks and add very little to the daily carbohydrate intake for anybody. However, most individuals do not know this, and they are eating up them early on in the diet. This is stopping their weight loss, and that leads them to believe that this way of eating does not work when it as a matter of fact can be beneficial. They are marketed as safe for Induction but that is not the case for most.
If you are trying this way of life, and are finding that you are having troubles, remember that often it is just one food that causes the weight loss to stall, and it may be something as innocent as the Atkins bars. Although it is a really easy diet and way of eating for many, there are times when small things will make a huge trouble for some. If you have been eating the Atkins bars with no troubles, then there is no reason you can not continue to do so. How, if you find you have stalled, perhaps remove them and see if things pick up for you again.
