When I was a kid, I joined in amateur boxing league with a couple of of my friends. The boxing equipment was an easy matter. All the boxing gear that we would need, basically, was our fists. After awhile, we recognized that it would be a little better and safer to get some gloves. Our parents saw us coming home with bruises and broken noses, and needless to say they were none too happy. Nonetheless, the gloves were as far as we went for awhile. We never had to invest in any fancy boxing equipment because we never had any particularly high goals. We just wanted a fun, easy way to blow off steam while hanging out with one another.
